Nosing About with Hudson
A waterlogged, travelog blog, with a dog
In exactly one week at 6AM my dog Hudson and I are taking off on a great 20 day, 5000 mile adventure. We will travel through Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska to Colorado. Then back east through Wyoming, Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ontario Province, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, District of Columbia and home in Arlington, 20 different jurisdictions.
I am putting together a travelogue of that trip and I would love it if many peripatetic dog lovers would share their experiences and thoughts on the blog. I also hope to hear from dog lovers in the states I will traverse with thoughts about dogcentric attractions in the state they call home.
Over the next 6 days I will share my thoughts and background for the trip and ask everyone to offer their 2 cents worth. Then as I travel, I will take lots of pictures, videos and offer commentary on Hudson’s adventures. My hope is that Hudson’s and my experience will trigger memories or thoughts that you will share with all.
I look forward to both your stories and your views of life with a cold nosed friend. The only request I would make is that all submissions be in the spirit of our friends, fun, never mean, or put off by a contrary point of view.
This enterprise is not entered into by Hudson or myself for any commercial reason we just love dog stories and the people who tell them.
As I start on this adventure any ideas you may have about what you would like to see on the blog would be most welcome. And please return to this site tomorrow for the next installment.
